Videotron Ltd. – Revocation of licence

1. Quebecor Media inc., on behalf of Videotron Ltd., has requested the revocation, effective 1 January 2026, of its broadcasting licence for the national English-language on-demand service (video-on-demand) formerly known as Freedom Mobile, operated by Videotron Ltd., the licence that was last renewed in VMedia – National on-demand service – Licence renewal, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2023-401, 4 December 2023.
2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(f) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Videotron Ltd. for the above-mentioned undertaking.
