CKOV-FM Kelowna – Acquisition of assets (corporate reorganization) – Finalization of conditions of service

In this decision, the Commission finalizes orders imposing conditions of service, including expenditure requirements, for Pattison Media Ltd. (Pattison) for the English-language commercial radio programming undertaking CKOV-FM Kelowna, British Columbia.
In CKOV-FM Kelowna – Acquisition of assets (corporate reorganization), Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2025-31, 30 January 2025 (Broadcasting Decision 2025-31), the Commission approved Pattison’s application to acquire the assets of CKOV-FM from Radius Holdings Inc. The Commission also proposed to make orders imposing on Pattison various conditions of service, including expenditure requirements, and sought representations on the proposed orders. The Commission did not receive any representations.
In light of the above, and pursuant to subsections 9.1(1) and 11.1(2) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission makes the orders imposing on Pattison Media Ltd. the conditions of service for CKOV-FM set out in Appendix 2 to Broadcasting Decision 2025-31.
