La Chaîne Disney – Revocation of licence

1. TELETOON Canada Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment Inc., has requested the revocation of its broadcasting licence for the French-language discretionary children’s programming undertaking La Chaîne Disney, last renewed in Various television programming services and networks, and broadcasting distribution undertakings – Administrative renewals, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2023-245, 8 August 2023.
2. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to paragraph 9(1)(f) and subsection 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to TELETOON Canada Inc. for the above-mentioned undertaking.
