Subject: Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2025-201 – Independent Production Fund condition for meeting CIPF eligibility

Thank you for your letter sent 26 August 2025 regarding the Independent Production Fund (IPF)’s commitment to establishing a dedicated permanent allocation of funding.
I acknowledge the receipt of the documents you filed in response to Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2025-201 (the Decision).
Based on the commitments outlined in your letter, Commission staff is of the view that the IPF has met the requirements set out in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2025-201. Accordingly, the Fund will be added to the list of Certified Independent Production Funds (CIPFs) eligible to receive contributions from audio-visual online undertakings pursuant to the broadcasting regulatory policy 2024-121. This eligibility is effective as of the date of this letter.
