Subject: Request for Extension to file Reply Comments, Broadcasting Notice, of Consultation CRTC 2025-220, Applications 2025-0168-4 and 2025-0169-2

Bev Kirshenblatt,

Thank you for your letter dated 09 October 2025 for an extension to submit a reply to Mr. Kody Gardner and Ms. Dianne Sheppard’s interventions filed on the record of the above noted proceeding.

In this letter, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) requests an extension to submit its reply to the interventions on the record to 30 October 2025. CBC submitted that this will allow the public broadcaster to fully consider and address the interveners’ concerns and continue to serve the affected communities.

This letter is to advise that the deadline to file the CBC’s reply is extended to 23 October 2025. Commission staff is of the opinion that this extension will provide the CBC with sufficient time to address the interventions on the record, while allowing the application to remain under consideration at the 30 October 2025 hearing.

A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.

Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Rachel Marleau at Rachel.Marleau@crtc.gc.ca.

Yours sincerely,
