Subject: New RFI Responses filed as part of Notice of Consultation 2025-52
The Commission received responses to the Requests for Information (RFI) sent on 23 October 2025 as part of the above-noted Notice of Consultation. RAS Creative filed its response on 28 November 2025, and the Screen Composers Guild of Canada filed its response on 4 December 2025.
Commission staff is of the view that although the responses were received after the RFI response deadline of 24 November 2025, it would be in the public interest to add them to the public record of the proceeding. Adding the responses will provide a diversity of views and contribute to a greater understanding of the issues raised in the proceeding, outweighing any potential prejudice.
