Subject: Implementing a retail Internet service subsidy in the Far North, Notice of Consultation CRTC 2025-10, FMCC’s Procedural Request – Request for deadline extension to file Reply Comments
On 16 January 2025, the Commission published Telecom Notice of Consultation (NoC) 2025-10 to determine how to best implement a retail Internet subsidy in the Far North. The deadline for interventions was 18 February 2025, and the current deadline for replies is 28 February 2025.
On 25 February 2025, First Mile Connectivity Consortium (FMCC) filed a procedural request with the Commission to extend the deadline for replies from 28 February 2025 to 21 March 2025.
Commission staff confirms that the deadline for replies will be extended and that a Commission decision setting a new deadline will be published shortly. Any party that has already submitted its reply will have the opportunity to re-file or update it.
