Subject: NorthernTel Tariff Notice 428 – Residential Calling Features
Dear Philippe Gauvin:
On 15 May 2025, the Commission an application from NorthernTel proposing changes to NorthernTel's General Tariff Section N490.8 – Call Management Services. Specifically, Northwestel proposed to:
- Decrease the minimum rates in the approved rate ranges for certain call management features
- Introduce a rate range for pay-per-activation services activation of a function/feature, each, and maximum charge, per month, per line.
Commission staff is analyzing this application.
Consequently, the application, along with any associated subsequent revisions, will not be approved on an interim basis on the 15th calendar day following receipt. However, the Commission intends to make its decision regarding these applications and any subsequent revisions within 45 business days of receipt of the filing.
