Dear Recipients and interested persons,

This letter follows a request for information sent to Bell Canada (Bell) and Rogers Communications Canada Inc. (Rogers) on 5 August 2025, regarding recently reported incidents of misrouted calls and overheard conversations of customers in the Niagara Region.

The CRTC takes the privacy of Canadians seriously. To better understand what occurred and measures taken to avoid them going forward, information was requested and both Bell and Rogers submitted answers which can be consulted here.

Any interested persons have until 15 September 2025 to comment on the RFI responses provided by Bell and Rogers.
