Subject: Procedural letter - Items filed under Rogers Tariff Notices (TNs) 84, 84/A, 84/B, and Shaw TNs 47 and 47/A, New Gig Services - Deficiencies in Rogers and Shaw filings

On 1 October 2024, TekSavvy Solutions Inc. and the Competitive Network Operators of Canada together filed a procedural request with respect to above noted tariffs requesting that Rogers file retail rates consistent with Commission determinations in Telecom Decision 2023-196Footnote 1.

Deficiencies

Commission staff requests that Rogers file retail rates for its Gig Services consistent with the determinations in Telecom Decision 2023-196 including those strictly for retention purposes (even if those have no equivalent advertised retail offering) for all the speed bands and service speeds introduced through Rogers TNs 84, 84/A, and 84/B, and Shaw TNs 47 and 47/A.
