Subject: Quebecor Media inc. (on behalf of Videotron Ltd.) procedural request regarding preliminary procedural direction and extension of time
We are writing to inform you of the Commission’s decision regarding the above noted procedural request.
The Commission directs parties to file their substantive submissions on this proceeding in accordance with the CRTC Rules of Practice and Procedure, and designate certain information as confidential, as appropriate in the circumstances and as set out in section 39 of the Telecommunications Act and in Procedures for filing confidential information and requesting its disclosure in Commission proceedings, Broadcasting and Telecom Information Bulletin CRTC 2010-961, 23 December 2010.
In particular, the Commission directs SaskTel to file all information that it considers relevant to Videotron’s application that will enable SaskTel to provide a complete answer and defence to Videotron’s allegations. SaskTel should note the source of all confidential information included therein, designating it as confidential so that the Commission can rule on its relevance and treatment in the final decision as required.
The Commission affirms the 7-day filing extension for intervention and reply submissions. The deadline to submit an intervention in this proceeding remains extended to 22 July 2026, and the deadline for reply submissions remains extended until 3 August 2026.
