Subject: Telecom and Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2025-180, Call for comments - Improving the public alerting system, — Procedural Request Submitted by James Bay Cree Communications Society
In your correspondence of 28 November 2025, you made a procedural request to make a correction to the James Bay Cree Communications Society’s (JBCCS) intervention submitted on 21 November 2025 in the proceeding initiated by Telecom and Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2025-180. In the request, JBCCS stated that the correction was necessary to accurately represent the views of one of its research interview participants. JBCCS indicated that the change was sought as soon as the inaccuracy was discovered and filed a copy of the intervention clearly indicating the changes.
CRTC staff is of the view that the changes are small, factual corrections which should not impact parties’ ability to reply fulsomely and that accuracy in interventions is necessary. Accordingly, the record of this proceeding will be updated with a clean copy of the revised intervention and a copy which indicates the changes.
