Nous informons par la présente les fournisseurs de services de télécommunication (FST) qu'en ce qui concerne la contribution, le Conseil a décidé de reporter l'établissement des frais définitifs en pourcentage des revenus pour 2001.
Dans la décision 2000-745, le Conseil a indiqué que lorsqu'il aura approuvé les frais définitifs en pourcentage des revenus, le gestionnaire du fonds central devra faire le rapprochement entre le montant total recueilli à ce jour auprès de chaque compagnie et le montant qui aurait dû être versé si les frais définitifs en pourcentage étaient entrés en vigueur le 1er janvier 2001. Le Conseil a établi ce processus de rapprochement afin de s'assurer que ces frais définitifs permettent de recueillir un montant de subvention adéquat.
Lorsqu'il a examiné l'information financière réelle que les FST ont déposée pour 2000, le personnel du Conseil a relevé des incohérences dans le calcul des revenus admissibles à la contribution et a demandé à certains FST de déposer des données financières révisées. Afin d'atteindre le but visé par le processus de rapprochement énoncé dans la décision 2000-745, le Conseil attendra donc de recevoir cette information financière avant de déterminer les frais définitifs en pourcentage des revenus pour 2001.
