Description: On 23 February 2010, the Commission published Order 2010-107, where at paragraph 31 it directed, among other things, that we file revised rates for 9-1-1 service annually, commencing 1 December 2010: The Commission notes that, in Order 2000-630, it prescribed a modified formula for recalculating 9-1-1 service rates, on an annual basis, and that it subsequently applied this formula to TBayTel in Telecom Decision 2002-2. The Commission considers that this formula should be applied to NorthernTel. Accordingly, the Commission directs NorthernTel to file revised rates for 9-1-1 service annually, commencing 1 December 2010, using the recalculation formula set out in Order 2000-630.

Description: In Telecom Decision CRTC 99-17, 9-1-1 Service – Rates for Wireless Service Providers, Centrex Customers and Multi-Line Customers/Manual Access to the Automatic Location Identification Database (Decision 99-17), as amended in Telecom Order CRTC 2000-630, Rates modified for province-wide 9-1-1 service (Order 2000 630), the Commission directed, among other things, that we recalculate our province-wide 9-1-1 rates on an annual basis. In addition, in Telecom Order CRTC 2009-375 dated 19 June 2009, and Telecom Order CRTC 2009-779 dated 15 December 2009, the Commission approved an incremental $0.04 rate adjustment to our monthly rates for E9-1-1 in the province of Manitoba and this incremental rate adjustment is added to the annual recalculated monthly rates for E9-1-1 Service to produce combined harmonized monthly rates for E9-1-1 Service. The Commission indicated that when this results in revised rates, they are to be filed by 1 December of each year.
