Decision

Ottawa, 22 March 1984
Decision CRTC 84-282
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Squamish, British Columbia - 830651600
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1984-29 dated 31 January 1984, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission announces that it approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBRU Squamish by changing the frequency from 1,350 kHz to 1,260 kHz.
The CBC has indicated that this change in frequency should not significantly affect the station's coverage area and should enable the CBC to avoid interference with CKEG Nanaimo, British Columbia which also operates on the frequency 1,350 kHz.
J.G. Patenaude Secretary General
