Decision

Ottawa, 16 July 1985
Decision CRTC 85-551
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Cassiar, British Columbia - 850464900
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1985-109 dated 29 May 1985, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBDG Cassiar by changing the frequency from 1,340 kHz to 670 kHz.
The Commission notes that this change of frequency will enable the CBC to avoid a loss in the night-time service of CBDG to Cassiar as a result of power increases by former Class IV stations.
Fernand Bélisle
Secretary General
