Decision

Ottawa, 10 March 1986
Decision CRTC 86-192
Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Chatham, Ontario - 851142000
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1986-14 dated 20 January 1986, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CBEE-FM Chatham by changing the frequency from 95.1 MHz (channel 236B) to 88.1 MHz (channel 201A) and by decreasing the effective radiated power from 35,500 watts to 1,430 watts.
The CBC has indicated that the change of frequency is required as a result of revisions to the CBC Long Range Radio Plan, as set out in Public Notice CRTC 1985-86, and that the area will continue to be adequately served.
In accordance with paragraph 22(1)(b) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission will only issue the licence amendment, and the authority granted herein may only be implemented, at such time as written notification is received from the Department of Communications that it will issue an amendment to the Technical Construction and Operating Certificate.
