The Commission has received the following applications:
ATLANTIC REGION
1. DARTMOUTH, Nova Scotia
 Application (883357600) by NEWCAP BROADCASTING LIMITED, P.O. Box 1007, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, B2Y 3Z7, to amend the broadcasting licence for CFDR Dartmouth by changing the frequency from 680 kHz to 780 kHz; by increasing the night-time power from 10,000 to 10,000 to 15,000 watts, and by changing the antenna location from 44°42'08" North, 63°41'58" West to 44°38'09" North and 63°41'46" West.
The applicant states that these changes will provide a stronger night-time signal in the Bedford-Sackville-Waverley area.

2. ST. JOHN'S NEWFOUNDLAND
 Application (891034100) by NEWCAP BROADCASTING LIMITED, P.O. Box 1007, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, B2Y 3Z7, to amend the broadcasting licence for CJYQ St. John's by increasing the transmitter power from 25,000 to 50,000 watts.
The applicant states that this increase in power will improve the CJYQ signal to Mount Pearl and Conception Bay areas of Newfoundland.
