Decision

Ottawa, 26 November 1990
Decision CRTC 90-1120
CIBM-FM Mont-Bleu Ltée
La Pocatière, Quebec - 901200600
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1990-92 dated 5 October 1990, the Commission approves the application by the licensee of CHOX-FM La Pocatière for authority to use the frequency of 97.5 MHz (channel 248), with an effective radiated power of 25,160 watts, and to locate the station's transmitter at Saint-Onésime. These technical parameters will ensure that the 500 uV/m contour coverage area excludes Rivière-du-Loup and surrounding area, and that it not extend beyond Notre-Dame-du-Portage on the eastern side.
The licensee has indicated that the transmitter site and technical parameters proposed will address the concerns expressed by the Commission in Decision CRTC 90-210 dated 28 February 1990.
