Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1990-101 dated 29 October 1990, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CILW Wainwright, by relocating the transmitter site to a location approximately 6 kilometers east of the present site; by increasing the power from 1,000 watts to 10,000 watts during the day and to 3,500 watts at night; and by changing the frequency from 1,230 KHz to 830 KHz.
The applicant has indicated that the proposed changes to its technical parameters will improve coverage in the rural areas surrounding Wainwright.
