Decision CRTC 91-329
Vidéotron Ltée
Quebec City, Quebec - 903189900
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1991-33 dated 26 March 1991, the Commission approves, by condition of licence, the application by Vidéotron Ltée, licensee of the broadcasting receiving undertaking serving Quebec City, for an exemption from the requirement of paragraph 16(2)(b) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986 to distribute the programming service of local station CIGB-FM Trois-Rivières.
In assessing this application, the Commission has taken into account the licensee's argument that the reception quality of the CIGB-FM signal is unacceptable, and that the Department of Communications has confirmed this to be the case.
