Decision

Ottawa, 27 September 1991
Decision CRTC 91-776
Airport General Manager, Lester B. Pearson International Airport
Toronto, Ontario - 911319200
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1991-94 dated 3 September 1991, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CFYZ Toronto, by changing the frequency from 530 kHz to 1,280 kHz and by changing the transmitter power from 50 watts to 25 watts during the day and to 99 watts during the night.
The change in frequency will enable CFYZ to avoid loss of service when the proposed reassignment of CIAO Brampton, approved in Decision CRTC 91-331, from 790 kHz to 530 kHz is implemented.
Allan J. Darling
Secretary General
