Promotion of Canadian Programs
The Commission has received the following applications:
ONTARIO REGION
1. PARRY SOUND, Ontario
Application (911674000) by RADIO & T.V. DISTRIBUTION LIMITED, Box 338, Parry Sound, Ontario, P2A 2X4, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the cable distribution undertaking serving Parry Sound as follows:
- by deleting the presently authorized distribution of the programming services of WIVB-TV (CBS) and WGRZ-TV (NBC) Buffalo, New York, received via microwave, on the basic service; and
- by allowing the licensee to distribute, at its option, as part of the basic service, the programming services of WJBK-TV (CBS) and WDIV (NBC) Detroit, Michigan, received via satellite from the Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (CANCOM) network.

3. LOGAN LAKE, British Columbia
Application (910318500) by the LOGAN LAKE RECREATIONAL SOCIETY, P.O. Box 56, Logan Lake, British Columbia, V0K 1W0, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Logan Lake, as follows:
Television Services
- by adding the distribution of the programming service of CFJC-TV Kamloops, British Columbia on channel 7 with a transmitter power of 20 watts;
- by adding the distribution of the programming service of WGN-TV Chicago, Illinois on channel 68 with a transmitter power of 20 watts;
- by deleting the distribution of the programming service of The Nashville Network (TNN) on channel 68; and
- by changing the distribution of the programming service of WDIV (NBC) (CANCOM) Detroit, Michigan from channel 7 to channel 65.
Radio Services
- by adding the distribution of the programming service of CIRK-FM Edmonton, Alberta (CANCOM) on frequency 102.5 NHz with an effective radiated power of 20 watts.
