Tourist Radio Information for Niagara Inc.

Following a Public Hearing in the National Capital Region on 24 November 1992, the Commission approves the application for a broadcasting licence for an English-language FM radio programming undertaking at Niagara Falls on the frequency 91.9 MHz, channel 220, with an effective radiated power of 8 watts, to broadcast non-commercial, tourist information programming originating from the studios of CJRN Niagara Falls.
The programming will consist of weather, traffic, parking and bridge conditions, together with information relating to the "Winter Festival of Lights" ending 17 January 1993. The information will be repeated several times each hour, and updated regularly. The Commission notes that no commercial messages will be broadcast.
In accordance with the application, the Commission will issue a licence expiring 17 January 1993, subject to the conditions specified in the licence to be issued.
