Application (920540200) by C.K.O. CABLEVISION LIMITED, Mavillette, Digby County, Nova Scotia, B0W 2H0, to amend the broadcasting licence to carry on the (Radiocommunication) Distribution Undertaking serving Mavillette and surrounding areas, by changing the authorized distribution.
It is proposed to change the channel for the distribution of CHCH-TV Hamilton, Ontario from 56 to 30.

Application (920858800) by LE RÉSEAU DES SPORTS (RDS) to amend the condition of licence requiring the licensee to charge the following wholesare rate per subscriber per month to each cable operator wishing to provide Le Réseau des Sports (RDS) on the basic service:
$1.19 from 01/09/92 to 31/12/92; $1.21 from 01/01/93 to 31/08/93.
Further to agreements between the applicant (Le Réseau des Sports (RDS)), The Sports Network (TSN) and Télé-Câble Multi-Vision Inc., it is proposed to eliminate the wholesale rate normally charged to Télé-Câble Multi-Vision Inc. for the Saint-Philémon and Saint-Paul-de-Montminy, Quebec area, and to replace it with a combined wholesale rate for RDS and TSN per subscriber per month as follows:
$1.55 from 01/01/92 to 31/12/92;
$1.50 from 01/01/93 to 31/08/93.

- to be relieved, by condition of licence, pursuant to Subsection 9(1) of the Cable Television Regulations, 1986, from the requirement to distribute the programming service of CHCH-TV Hamilton, Ontario, received over-the-air; and
- to be authorized, by condition of licence, to distribute, at its option, the programming service of CHCH-TV Hamilton, received via satellite from the Canadian Satellite Communications Inc. (CANCOM) network, as part of the basic service.

The applicant states that this increase in power will improve the existing coverage at Grand Rapids and also provide a strong feed signal to the CBC rebroadcaster CBWHT-2 Easterville, Manitoba.
