Licence renewal
|
|
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1994-25 dated 14 March 1994, the Commission renews the licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking serving Valemount from 1 September 1994 to 31 August 1999, subject to the conditions in effect under the current licence, as well as to those conditions specified in the licence to be issued. This term will enable the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as that of other undertakings in the area.

The Commission also approves the proposal to amend the licence for the above-noted undertaking, by adding the transmitter CH2649 for the distribution, in non-encrypted mode, of CHAN-TV Vancouver, on channel 8 and with a transmitter power of 10 watts.
|
|
This amendment will bring this licence into conformity with the Broadcasting Act and with Public Notice CRTC 1991-63 entitled "New Broadcasting Act - Amendments to Classes of Licence". It will take effect upon expiry of the licence currently issued for the CH2649 transmitter, that is on 31 August 1994.
