Network licence amendment

1.

The Commission approves the application to amend the television network licence issued to CTV Television Inc. by deleting conditions of licence 1 through 8 inclusively set out in Decision CRTC 94-33 dated 9 February 1994.

2.

The licensee has indicated that it will fulfill its obligations under the Commission’s new TV policy (Building on success – A policy framework for Canadian television, Public Notice CRTC 1999-97), with respect to the exhibition of priority programming through the application of conditions of licence to CTV’s individual stations (see Decisions CRTC 2000-236 to 2000-243 of today’s date).
