Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 2000-8 dated 25 August 2000, at the Telus Convention Centre, 120 Ninth Avenue Southeast, Calgary, Alberta, the Commission announces the following:

ACROSS CANADA
Applications (200015273, 200017542, 200017550) by TQS INC., on behalf of COMMUNICATIONS QUEBECOR INC., COGECO INC., RADIO NORD INC., GESTION BARIPRA INC. et TÉLÉVISION MBS INC., limited partners, and COMMANDITÉ TQS INC., a company to be incorporated and to be a general partner in a limited partnership to be known as "TQS Limited Partnership / Société en commandite TQS";
Applications (200019035, 200019043, 200019118) by TQS INC. on behalf of COMMANDITÉ TQS (OBCI), VIEWER’S CHOICE CANADA INC., TVA GROUP INC. AND COGECO RADIO-TÉLÉVISION INC., general partners for CANAL INDIGO, a general partnership.
Applications (200015273, 200017542, 200017550) for authority to transfer TQS Inc.’s assets under a limited partnership, TQS Limited Partnership / Société en Commandite TQS. Pursuant to the terms of the reorganization, TQS Inc. would transfer all of its assets to TQS Limited Partnership / Société en Commandite TQS, which would include its 20% partnership interest in Canal Indigo. The transfer of assets and broadcasting licences would allow the continuance of the operation of the television programming undertakings CFJP-TV Montréal and its transmitter CJPC-TV Rimouski, CFAP-TV Quebec City, and for the French-language television network, all under the same terms and conditions as the current licences and any terms and conditions that may be imposed in the context of the licence renewal applications which were heard at the 27 June 2000 public hearing in Montréal, Quebec.
Applications (200019035, 200019043, 200019118) for the re-issuance of all of the broadcasting licences currently held by the partners of Canal Indigo to reflect the replacement of TQS inc. with Commandité TQS as a Canal Indigo licensee. The transfer of the Canal Indigo licenses from TQS to Commandité TQS is not intended to change any of the existing terms and conditons of the said licenses.
