Order CRTC 2000-714

Ottawa, 31 July 2000
TELUS Communications (B.C.) Inc.
Tariff Notice 4088

Local business contract option

The Commission approves on an interim basis TCBC's request to introduce the local business contract option renewal signing bonus (LBCO) promotion from 8 August 2000 to 8 February 2001.
The promotion offers existing one-year LBCO customers (who have completed a minimum of six months of their current contract) the option to commit to either a three- or five-year contract, for an equal or higher contract threshold for business exchange service under LBCO. A bonus in the form of a credit would then be credited on the customer's bill.
TCBC filed this application on 6 July 2000 to introduce Item 32E.10 of its General Tariff.
