Business Communications Services

1.

The Commission received an application by Aliant Telecom Inc. (Aliant Telecom), dated 12 June 2002, to revise NBTel Inc.'s General Tariff item 3805, Brunswick BCS, in order to increase the rates for the discontinued Brunswick BCS service by $1.50 per access on all tapers.

2.

In Telecom Order CRTC 98-1063, the Commission approved the company's application to discontinue the Brunswick BCS service for new customers while maintaining the service for existing customers.

3.

Aliant Telecom indicated its intention to inform all customers of the proposed rate changes.

4.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

5.

The Commission approves Aliant Telecom's application. The revisions take effect as of the date of this order.
