RE: Follow-up to Decision 2002-76
By letter dated 15 July 2003, Bell Canada requested an extension to the filing due date associated with a Commission staff letter, dated 10 July 2003, with respect to the follow-up to Regulatory safeguards with respect to incumbent affiliates, bundling by Bell Canada and related matters, Telecom Decision CRTC 2002-76, dated 12 December 2002. In that letter, Commission staff requested that Bell Canada file tariffs associated with its High Speed Access (HSA) and Gateway Access Service (GAS) within 10 days.
Bell Canada indicated the necessity to align the proposed tariffs for HSA and GAS with that proposed in Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) Access Service, Tariff Notice 6622, dated 18 October 2001.
It is noted that the initial due date for Bell Canada's response was 20 July 2003. It is further noted that the tariffs for HSA and GAS may impact the ADSL rate structure to be adopted on an interim basis in the context of the ADSL service proceeding initiated by Bell Canada. In view of this, Bell Canada is requested to file tariffs associated with its HSA and GAS by 6 August 2003.
