CIHS-FM Wetaskiwin - Technical change

1. The Commission approves the application by 902890 Alberta Ltd., carrying on business as TAG Broadcasting, to change the authorized contours of the radio programming undertaking CIHS-FM Wetaskiwin, by increasing the average effective radiated power (ERP) from 1,700 watts to an ERP of 5,120 watts and by increasing the antenna height.
2. The licensee stated that the change of contours will improve the reception of CIHS-FM to the east and southwest of Wetaskiwin.
3. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
4. The Commission reminds the licensee that, pursuant to section 22(1) of the Broadcasting Act, this authority will only be effective when the Department of Industry notifies the Commission that its technical requirements have been met, and that a broadcasting certificate will be issued.
