Re: Ethernet Services

On 11 August 2006 , MTS Allstream was requested to provide comments to the Commission regarding the final disposition of Ethernet Services.

By letter dated 18 August 2006 , MTS Allstream indicated that, due to work related issues, it would be unable to file its comments by the date requested and proposed the schedule be modified as follows:

1) By 5 September 2006 , Bell Canada , TCC, Aliant Telecom, MTS Allstream, and SaskTel may file submissions, serving a copy on other parties.

2) By 15 September 2006 , interested parties may file comments, serving a copy on other parties.

3) By 25 September 2006 , Bell Canada , TCC, Aliant Telecom, MTS Allstream and SaskTel may file reply comments, serving a copy on other parties.

In the circumstances, the request to modify the schedule is reasonable.  

Consequently, the process to provide parties an opportunity to comment, to the extent it alters their existing submissions, on approval on a final basis of the tariffs filed for Ethernet services for competitor use is modified according to the schedule identified above.

Where a document is to be filed or served by a specific date, the document must be actually received, and not merely sent, by that date.
