CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee - Consensus item

  Reference: 8621-C12-01/00
  In this Decision, the Commission approves a template agreement for Intercarrier Number Portability Operations that would operationalize intermodal porting between local exchange carriers and wireless service providers.

1.

The Business Process Working Group (BPWG) of the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee (CISC) submitted a consensus report to the CISC Steering Committee (SC).

On 5 July 2007, the SC approved the following report:
 
  • BPWG - LEC/WSP INPOA Template, 21 June 2007 (BPRE060b and INPOAV1_0). The above template agreement addresses processes, procedures, escalation, dispute resolution and other terms and conditions governing intermodal porting between local exchange carriers and wireless service providers.

3.

The consensus report was referred to the Commission for consideration. The report is available through the Commission's website.

4.

The Commission has reviewed and approves the above-noted consensus report.
