(Vista) for the use of frequency 103.9 MHz (channel 280C1) with an average effective radiated power of 5,200 watts (maximum effective radiated power 10,000 watts/effective antenna height 506 metres) for the operation of the English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking in Kelowna, British Columbia, which was approved in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2008-62, 14 March 2008 (Decision 2008-62).

 

The present application is filed in response to Decision 2008-62, Licensing of new radio stations to serve Kelowna, British Columbia, in which the Commission stated that it would only issue a licence to Vista if it submitted, within three months from the date of the decision, an application proposing the use of another FM frequency and technical parameters that are acceptable to both the Commission and the Department of Industry.
