Re: Review of the Internet traffic management practices of Internet service providers

This letter serves to release information submitted to the Commission in confidence with respect to requests for disclosure as per the letter dated 4 February 2009 for the above-noted proceeding.

Commission staff issued a letter dated 4 February 2009, addressed to interested parties of PN 2008-19, requesting disclosure of information filed under a claim of confidence in the above-noted proceeding. In that letter, certain parties were, among other things, requested to file information which the Commission would then disclose on the public record in a manner that protects the identity of the party to whom the information relates.

On 9 February 2009, responses to these requests were received from Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership (Bell Aliant) and Bell Canada, Bragg Communications Inc. (Bragg), Cogeco Cable Inc. (Cogeco), MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream), Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. (Primus), Quebecor Media Inc. on behalf of Videotron Ltd. (QMI), Rogers Communications Inc. (Rogers), Saskatchewan Telecommunications (SaskTel), Shaw Communications Inc. (Shaw), and TELUS Communications Company (TCC).

As contemplated by Commission staff's letter dated 4 February 2009, to the extent that it can be disclosed without revealing the identity of the party to whom it relates, the information filed by parties pursuant to the process referred to above is set out for the public record in the attachment to this letter.

Yours sincerely,
