RE: PIC / CARE access customer handbook
On 30 March 2009, the Commission received an application by LES.NET (1996) Inc. (LES.NET), for approval of its Primary Interexchange Carrier/Customer Account Record Exchange Access Customer Handbook (PIC/CARE access customer handbook).
On 29 April 2009, Commission staff sent a letter to LES. NET indicating that a number of revisions should be made to the company's PIC / CARE access customer handbook in order for it to be consistent with the latest version of the model developed by the CRTC Interconnection Steering Committee. Commission staff requested that the company file its revised PIC / CARE access customer handbook with the Commission by 8 May 2009.
Commission staff notes that the company has still not filed the requested revisions nor has it contacted the Commission to indicate when it would file the revisions. Consequently, this application is closed.
The Commission is open to examining a new application from the company that would address the items listed in Attachment 1. The application must be filed under cover of a new application. The company may contact Joëlle Bernier at (819) 994-0551 should it require further information.

Revisions to PIC/CARE access customer handbook
• Handbook Section 1.4 (page 6) and Section 1.6 (page 7):
- A specific reference to the Tariff must be provided. This specific reference is "LES.NET General Tariff CRTC 21790, Item 302.4".
• Handbook Section 2.3 (page 8) and Section 10.9 (page 39):
- Remove the reference to Telnet Communications CSG.
• Handbook Section 3.7 (page 11):
- The specific reference to the Tariff is "LES.NET General Tariff CRTC 21790, Item 304".
• The word "LEC" should be replaced by "LES.NET" in the following areas:
- Handbook page 14, 18, 21, 22, 23, 40.
• The word "the" is included in front of "LES. NET" such that it reads "the LES.NET". This should be corrected on the following pages:
- Handbook page 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 41, 42, and Appendix H page 1.
• "LES.NET" was used to replace the word "LEC" in certain cases where it should not have been. Re-insert the word "LEC" in the following areas:
- Handbook Section 9.2(iii) page 31, 32, 43, 46, 47.
• Handbook Section 4.10 (page 18):
- Review the second sentence as it seems that something is missing.
• Handbook Section 10.7 (page 39):
- Correct the punctuation in the first paragraph.
• Handbook Section 11.1 (page 40):
- Correct the typographical error on the second line.
• Appendix B (page 1):
- Replace the "x" on the fourth line by "LES. NET ".
