Subject : Reply by Astral Media inc. to the 13 October 2011 letter from Quebecor Média inc. to the Secretary General of the Commission
Ms. Dorval,
This is in response to a letter from Astral Media inc. (Astral), dated 14 October 2011, sent in reply to a letter from Quebecor Media inc. (Quebecor), dated 13 October 2011, following Astral’s reply dated 7 October 2011 submitted as part of Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-525.
For the reasons set out in a Commission letter dated this day and addressed to Quebecor, a copy of which was sent to Astral, the Commission denies Quebecor’s request to add its additional response to the public file for Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-525. As stated in the letter, Quebecor will have the opportunity to express their additional arguments and concerns during the public hearing to be held in Montréal commencing on 5 December 2011.
Consequently, the Commission informs Astral that its 14 October 2011 letter in response to Quebecor’s 13 October 2011 letter will not be added to the public file for this proceeding.
