Dear Mr. Ray,

In Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2011-398, Call for applications – Radio stations to serve Calgary, Alberta, 30 June 2011, the Commission announced a call for applications from parties wishing to obtain a radio licence (or licences) to serve Calgary, Alberta. Further, it was stated that persons interested in responding to this call must submit a duly completed application to the Commission no later than 28 September 2011.

The panel of the Commissioners presiding over the Calgary hearing (the Panel) notes that your application was submitted in part to the Commission on 28 September 2011 at 1:55 p.m. EST, but that Appendix 1 – Supplementary Brief was submitted to the Commission on 30 September 2011 at 9:15 a.m. EST, with an Addendum to the Supplementary Brief submitted to the Commission on 3 October 2011 at 9:40 p.m. EST.

In light of the above, the Panel considers that your application has failed to provide the required information before the specified deadline, and that your application will not be considered as part of this process.

Please note that this application is now considered closed and that the Commission has disposed of all related documents.
