CKDQ Drumheller – Conversion to the FM band – Finalization of conditions of service

In CKDQ Drumheller – Conversion to the FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2024-31, 9 February 2024 (Broadcasting Decision 2024-31), the Commission approved an application by Stingray Radio Inc. for a new broadcasting licence to operate an English-language commercial FM radio station in Drumheller, Alberta, to replace its English-language commercial AM radio station CKDQ Drumheller.
In that decision, the Commission proposed to make orders imposing on Stingray Radio Inc. the various conditions of service set out in Appendix 2 to the decision and invited interested persons to make representations only on the proposed orders. The Commission did not receive any representations.
In light of the above, and pursuant to subsections 9.1(1) and 11.1(2) of the Broadcasting Act,the Commission hereby makes the orders imposing conditions of service on Stingray Radio Inc. in respect of the new English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking in Drumheller, Alberta, to replace its English-language commercial AM radio station CKDQ Drumheller, as set out in Appendix 2 to Broadcasting Decision 2024-31.
