Ottawa, 6 December 1989
Decision CRTC 89-866
NewCap Broadcasting Limited
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia- 883357600
Pursuant to Public Notice CRTC 1989-115 dated 17 October 1989, the Commission approves the application to amend the broadcasting licence for CFDR Dartmouth by changing the frequency from 680 kHz to 780 kHz, increasing the night-time transmitter power from 10,000 watts to 15,000 watts and relocating the transmitter site from Kearney Lake Road to approximately 8 km south on St. Margaret's Bay Road.
The licensee has indicated that these changes will enable it to provide a stronger night-time signal in the Bedford-Sackville-Waverley area.
